What is the attire for the evening?

Guests are encouraged to wear business casual, summer cocktail attire, or the like.

What is the menu and what wine will be served?

Working with the culinary team at The Golf Club at Newcastle, we are pleased to feature local farmers within this year’s menu. In addition to enjoying the featured wineries during the tasting reception, guests are encouraged to bring their favorite wines to enjoy at their table during dinner. House wine will be provided to guests who do not bring their own wine for dinner.

How much are tickets to the event and what does that include?

Tables of ten seats may be purchased for $3,000 each; individual tickets are available for $300 each. Your ticket includes premier wine tastings from select wineries, a multi-course dinner and an elite live auction.

Are ticket purchases tax-deductible?

The fair market value of each ticket is $125; the balance is tax-deductible. You will receive a receipt for your purchase for your tax records. Virginia Mason Foundation and Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI) are part of the Virginia Mason Health System, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. Our tax ID is 91-1351110.

Where do I submit my guest's names?

Please submit your guest's name and email address using our online form.

Can I bid on items if I’m not able to attend the event?

Yes! Our team is pleased to accommodate any absentee (proxy) bidders that wish to participate in the auction. Proxy bids may be placed up until 12:00 p.m. (PST) on Friday, August 26, 2016. Proxy bidders must review and complete our proxy bid form and policies. Please call (206) 583-6514 to request more information. You will be able to preview our Live Auction items in August.

What is the Boeing Classic?

The Boeing Classic is an Official Event on the PGA TOUR Champions Tour, which features the legends of golf 50 years of age or older. Billy Andrale is the defending Champion after a victory at the 11th Annual Tournament in 2015; which also featured 85,000 spectators and was supported by approximately 1,000 volunteers. Since inception of this event, more than $6 million has been raised for the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason, the Heart Institute at Virginia Mason Medical Center, and additional Greater Seattle Charities.
