This year’s Grapes on the Green raised $550,000 to benefit Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI) on Friday, August 26, 2016.
“It was a very exciting event,” said President of Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI) Jane Buckner, MD. “What an honor to have so much community support of our fight against autoimmune diseases."
More than 300 guests were joined by patient speaker Jack Wimpress, who shared his passionate story of raising three children with type 1 diabetes. Guests tasted an elite collection of wines from local wineries: Barrage Cellars, Coral Wines, David Frost Wines, DeLille Cellars, Ghost Block, Lachini Vineyards, O Wines, Paradigm Winery, Sparkman Cellars, Spring Valley Vineyards, Moët & Chandon and Charles Smith Wines.
