Most people believe the AIDS crisis is over. Most people are wrong.

Bailey-Boushay House Client

For the fortunate ones who have the resources and support they need to stay on their HIV-suppressing medications, HIV/AIDS is no longer a death sentence. And they are no longer spreading the virus.

Make a donation NOW.

But among those who are homeless, chemically dependent, and/or suffering from mental health issues, the crisis continues.

So does the loss of dignity and respect.

With vital contributions from compassionate donors, Bailey-Boushay House is able to offer these vulnerable clients the support they need to adhere to their complex medication regimes.

What does this support look like?

Simple things – like a pair of clean socks, a hot meal, a haircut, and a washing machine big enough to hold a sleeping bag.

Complex things – like medication management, legal help, chemical dependency counseling and conflict-resolution training.

Intangible things – like respect from those around you, the freedom to make your own choices and a renewed sense of belonging to a community.

On November 1, Bailey-Boushay House opened a 50-bed homeless shelter, the first in the country exclusively for men and women with HIV.

Please donate today to support this important effort.

By helping to meet basic human needs, your gift can help restore basic human dignity. You are also helping prevent the spread of HIV in our community.
